Night of the horns
In aid of motor neurone disease

You may or may not already have heard that our dear friend Harry Fulcher has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. MND is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones. Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing. It is unlikely that Harry will play at the Jazzsuite again and with this in mind we have decided to use this months performance as a benefit to raise money for the MND association in Harrys name. When we first started the club nearly six years ago Harry was instrumental in supplying names and giving advice on logistics of running a jazz club, we are deeply indebted to him and wish him well.
